Saints Archery is a club open to everyone, from experienced archers to complete novices, students, teaching staff and alumni. We currently have 120 members who shoot all four shooting styles (compound, recurve, barebow and traditional) and try to provide a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all, whether you are interested in competing or just shooting for fun. Archery is a very accessible sport, and we welcome disabled students who wish to shoot with us and can provide appropriate coaching and equipment.
We have regular sessions 3 times a week and attend, as well as host, many archery competitions around the country. We also have frequent socials, including a weekly pub night and a weekly brunch in town following the Sunday morning sessions where club members can get to know one another.
The club has its own bows, arrows and all the necessary safety equipment so you don't have to fork out for anything when joining - in fact, we're one of the cheapest sports clubs at a meagre £20/yr! Find out more about how to join the club.
We will also be starting an open session for the community on Sunday mornings, beginning with two have-a-go sessions on the 6th and 13th November and with an aim to continue these as regular open session for the rest of the year.
